Prior to joining KGHP in 2003, Dr. Catalin Frujinoiu was a Postdoctoral Fellow and Faculty Member at the Idaho Accelerator Center, where he researched the dose rate effects induced in biological structures by very high radiation doses and taught Introduction to Electricity, Magnetism, Optics, Nuclear and Atomic Physics. He has won several awards, including the Robert Gardner Memorial Award for Activity in Health Physics. Dr. Frujinoiu has authored several publications and has several years of experience in diagnostic radiology physics. He has board certifications from the American Board of Health Physics as a Certified Health Physicist and in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and from the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine with a certification in Diagnostic Radiological Physics.
