KGHP provides Patient Radiation Dose Monitoring Program to its x-ray clients. This service includes:
- Measurement of radiation exposure over the range of kilovoltage used for diagnostic examinations
- Quantitative determination of patient exposure for commonly employed techniques
- Reporting on:
- Calculated entrance exposure for common exam projections in a given room.
- Comparison of your facility’s exposure values to national averages and “generally accepted” exposure values.
