ACR Accreditation Assistance

KGHP offers comprehensive physics support to assure compliance with quality standards set forth by accrediting and licensing agencies, such as the American College of Radiology (ACR), Joint Commission, and the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). We consistently achieve and maintain ACR accreditation for our clients.

In addition to optimizing equipment and imaging parameters, KGHP will acquire phantom images for your submission to ACR. We provide on-going physics support to ensure that your Quality Assurance Program is effective and that equipment testing is conducted in a timely manner.

Our staff of physicists hold numerous board certifications in a variety of sub-specialties, allowing us to support the entire spectrum of imaging modalities: CT (Single, Multi-Slice & 3D), Mammography, MRI, Gamma Camera Imaging, PET and PET/CT, as well as Ultrasonography.

Computerized Tomography

KGHP is among the very first to develop expertise in the ACR accreditation process. In fact, we have been testing and evaluating diagnostic equipment well before the ACR made meeting such guidelines mandatory, and our physicists have extensive experience working with many varieties of CT scanners. KGHP validates that your CT dose is within range of acceptable benchmarks while also maintaining the high image quality standards required for ACR accreditation.

Mammography

As mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA), all mammography centers are required to continuously monitor the quality of their services. It is imperative that you have the utmost confidence that your physicist not only has the appropriate credentials and expertise, but is also knowledgeable and trained on the latest technology. Our experienced staff will assist you through the accreditation process, and as a partner, your KGHP physicist is available whenever needed.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging

With the vast number of clinical magnets tested each year, KGHP has built a remarkable reputation for expertise in MRI physics. Our physicists are available to your technologists and service engineers for assistance in producing outstanding quality images for accreditation.

Nuclear Imaging Systems

One of our core areas of service and expertise is ACR, Joint Commission, and ICANL accreditation support. KGHP employs physicists with specialty boards in nuclear instrumentation who oversee all camera and scanner testing.
